17 weeks! Almost half way there!

Well we are almost half way there! I can't believe it! The other day I had a lot of comments on my belly at work :-) I think I am starting to show that baby bump! We are busy getting ready for Christmas and continue to get ready for the baby. I registered! I am so excited! I went with the ladies in my family and we had so much fun :-) I just have a few more things to add. We are waiting until we find out the sex to get our bedding, room decor, clothers, and other gender specific things. Only a couple more weeks and we get to see our baby and find out if it is a little girl or a little boy! I can't wait!!! I have had two baby dreams. In my first dream, it was a boy and in my second dream, it was a girl! So, we'll see! We can't wait to share the news once we find out! Until next time :-)

Our Second Appointment with the Doctor

Well we had our second appointment with the doctor on November 11th and everything went great! So far everything looks good! My blood work came back A-OK and nothing abnormal seems to be happening! The highlight of this appointment was to "hear" the baby's heartbeat! The nurse found it right away and our little girl/boy had a heartrate of 151. Everyone seems to think that sounds like a boy but we will see! Speaking of that, we have our next appointment on December 19th. They will perform the second ultrasound and if the baby cooperates, we can find out the sex! I CAN'T WAIT! Curt and I are very excited to find out :-) Then we can really focus in on names, the nursury, etc... Wow it is really starting to seem real! I believe that I am starting to show a little. For the longest time I couldn't figure out if I was bloated or starting to show! I am 14 weeks today. Another month/month and a half I might start being able to feel the baby a little bit. That will really make it seem real! I am to the point now that I am starting to feel pregnant. I can't believe that we will have a baby in 6 months! How our lives will change...in many, many ways! But, we wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for following along on our journey! Until next time!

The "Proof"

I believe that this was #2 of a total of 4. I would keep it until the words went away :-) Everytime I would walk by it I would look at it.

Above are our first pictures of our little peanut. The head is at the bottom. So far our baby is growing as it should and looks great. The little one was moving quite a bit and the heart beat was nice and strong This was our first ultrasound and I was approximately 9 weeks along. I cannot wait for the next one :-)

The Big News

Well, it is official! After taking 4 pregnancy tests and wondering if I was really pregnant, our first doctor's visit confirmed it! WE ARE HAVING A BABY! We are due May 15th. We had our first ultrasound and we were able to see our little one moving around! We could also see the heart beating! We are so excited and blessed! I am currently 11 weeks. Our next visit to the doctor is November 11th and I am hoping to be able to hear the heart beat!
